At Fight Like a Girl Foundation, we are catalysts for change. Through our various initiatives and programs, we embrace, encourage, and empower women throughout their struggles with cancer or other life-altering diseases and other life adversities. Whether it’s providing monthly encouragement with our free Fight Notes cards, pairing fellow warriors together for our online Fight Pals program, awarding grants to families experiencing financial hardship during a medical crisis, or investing in women’s health medical research, we are dedicated to making a difference where it matters most.
Fight Pals
Our Fight Pals program was created because no one should have to fight alone. This free program pairs women experiencing similar challenges from fighting an illness or other life challenge, and then unites them as Fight Pals to support and encourage one another, as well as share experiences, advice, and milestones.
Fight Pals is currently open to women above the age of 18 living in the United States. Regardless of the challenge you are facing, we welcome you to sign up and get connected with a Fight Pal who will understand your struggles.
Fight Notes
This free program delivers a monthly dose of empowerment to the mailbox of anyone who could use some extra support and encouragement. The cards – which are all the same size and style can be collected as an Affirmation Deck to pull from for years to come.
Whether you or someone you care about is fighting cancer or another life-altering illness, recuperating from a serious injury, struggling with your mental health, recovering from addiction, or just going through a general rough patch and feeling drained or lonely, signing up for Fight Notes is a perfect way to show support.
Financial Assistance
At the Fight Like a Girl Foundation, we understand the emotional, physical, and financial challenges that come with a serious diagnosis. That’s why we offer two distinct financial assistance programs to support individuals and families during these difficult times.
Our Household Essentials Support Grant helps ease the strain of overwhelming medical expenses, while our Cancer Screening Fund covers the costs of essential cancer testing for those unable to afford it, empowering proactive health care.
Women’s Health Research Fund
This program was established to provide funding to state-of-the-art medical research focused on discovering cures, developing better treatments, and furthering prevention measures for women’s health issues.
Last Wishes
The Fight Like a Girl Last Wish Fund through the Dream Foundation® provides the means for fulfilling the last wishes of women, men, and children who have been confirmed by a physician to have less than 1 year to live. Whether it’s taking a trip they’ve always dreamed of, visiting a relative one last time, meeting a celebrity, or taking a balloon ride, the Fight Like a Girl Last Wish Fund not only offers these brave individuals a reprieve from treatments, worry, and the reality of their illness – if only for a day – but assists in bringing a sense of closure and peace to them as they come to the end of their life’s journey.
